Two weeks in island paradise flew by. Our first week was in Maui and this was our first visit to that island. We enjoyed watching sunrise from the top of Haleakala, great food and amazing views all over the island. We even get to see the whales despite being late in the season. Then we were off to the Big Island. Not to be outdone, it treated us to a spectacular night-time view of the Kilauea eruption and equally spectacular view of the night sky on top of Mauna Kea.
